Abstract

The important of this research lies in the Improvement of tests based on complex motor patterns which naturally influence pupils’ skill levels and physical activity this in turn, has a positive on the assessment of basic skills in sport in general, and in mini-volleyball in particular by linking the basic movement pattern to the technical nature of the fundamental skills involved, Keywords Construction regulation, combined tests midfield volleyball The aim of the study was to Building and standardise tests based on complex motor patterns to assess overhead passing skills among third-year primary school pupils both boys and girls. A review was conducted of the literature and studies relating to complex motor patterns covering topics relevant to the research the researchers employed a descriptive approach as it was appropriate to the nature and problem of the research The research population Construction Sampleof %)65( pupils comprising )36( boys and 29 girls, who were selected at random and constituted 65 per cent of the total research population The main experimental sample comprised 12 pupils, comprising (6) male pupils and (6) female pupils, who constituted the study population for the experiment, representing 12 per cent of the study population. A further 16 pupils were selected using simple random sampling to form a pilot sample, representing )10(% The most important Conclusions were accurately derived from the results of tests designed in accordance with complex motor patterns similar to fundamental volleyball skills, specifically in the performance of the overhead pass in volleyball. Furthermore, the results achieved the objective for which these tests were developed: to assess the overhead pass skill among third-year primary school pupils, both boys and girls. The researchers recommend that these test based on complex motor patterns, should be used in physical education lessons for Year 3 primary school pupils given their effective and vital role in developing their motor ability.
