Abstract

Volleyball is considered a field for competition between the competing teams which have special requirements that it today force duties and tasks (for both kinetic and function) and to make a big physical effort and through the practice of researchers and the follow-up of the training of the junior class of volleyball they noticed that the basic skills of this game and the required functional capabilities don’t develop as fast as the quick development in volleyball this may be due to the large number of players which increases the coaching difficulties on the couch and how to observe each player and correct the errors that accompany the performance skills being done and the reaction for the incomplete performance that’s happen in training environment and according to the new directions the researchers choose the completions styles which is (individual, compare, team) and that’s to develop the training operation in how quick to acquire the skills and develop the spiking skill in volleyball and make it accurate in addition to develop the functional abilities that is attached to the skillful performance and trying to avoid the failure in the field of training to reach a better level of performance so one can face the practical reality in the sport events. And the research aimed to: 1. Understanding the effect of competition styles (team, compared, individual) in developing some functional abilities in spiking in volleyball. 2. Understanding of the best style in developing some functional abilities and spiking in volleyball. The researchers used the testing process to suit the nature of research problem, the research category limited by the junior players in volleyball which they are (70) players and the sample was chosen randomly which are (48) player randomly divided in a lottery way into three groups and each group consists of (16) player and then divided on the competition methods in the same way also on these groups, and the researchers have done a recon for the tests and then they extract the scientific bases for these tests, and also the data have been processed and extracted the results and the most important results was: 1. The three competition styles (individual, team, compared) are effective styles in developing the performance level of spiking in volleyball but in different ratios. 2. The use of compared competition style has led to develop the performance level of spiking in volleyball in a greater way than individual and team style.
