Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the responses of numbers of blood and urine components of run (10000m) and in recovery period for long distances runners, study was conducted on (6) runners of track and field runners in Baghdad , their mean Ages , Weights ,Heights was ( 26yrs, 62.5kg, 173cm) respectively. The research procedures include measured of numbers of blood components ( Hemoglobin(Hb), White blood cells(WBC), and Packed Cells Volume (PCV)) and urine components (red blood cells(RBC), protein, and ketone bodies before and after (10000m) run and in (1) hour recovery period after (10000m) run . All tests were performed in ambient temperature between (29- 30o). The research concluded no significant changes in blood and urine components before and after (10000m) run and in (1) hour recovery period after (10000m) run for long distances runners. The researchers was recommended should further studies on other sporting events to determine the extent of the impact of the type of sports activity in certain blood and urine components
