The Effect of Proposed Sensory – Motor Exercises On Some Fundamental Skills In Advance Goalkeepers

The problem of the research lies in great weakness in most soccer goalkeepers
that that the researchers to prepare a training program of many exercises that develop the
fundamental abilities of goalkeepers. The aim of the research was to identify the level of
sensory – motor perception level and the fundamental skills of the subject. In addition to
that, the researchers aimed at preparing exercises that develop sensory – motor abilities of
goalkeepers as well as identifying the effects of these exercises on some fundamental skills
of goalkeepers.
The researchers used the experimental method. The subjects were (3) advance
goalkeepers from ministry of Youth and Sports' youth clubs. The researchers concluded that
sensory – motor perception exercises have positive effect on developing sensory – motor
perception abilities in players as well as developing goalkeeping skills. Finally the
researchers recommended using sensory – motor perception exercises due to their great
effect on developing goalkeeping in goalkeepers as well as using senspry perception
exercises for players.
