Abstract

The importance of the research lies in airborne phase. The problem of the
research lies in identifying the contribution percentage of body parts in movement amount in
airborne phase. The aim of the research was in identifying momentum contribution
percentage on body parts in movement amount during airborne phase. The researcher filmed
jumpers using video camera (120 frame/sec) to get the variables of the research. The
subjects were (10) jumpers from the national center for gifted athletics/ ministry of youth
and sports. All members were male long jumpers U20. The results showed great
contribution percentage in angular momentums of legs, torso and thighs.
