Abstract

At the last years there are many studies and researches have shown that the risk of the chronic diseases had become in increasing because of the ever growing in the percentage of the overweight people and the obesity people , And studies have shown that the greater the weight of the individual with increased chance of developing one of the chronic diseases associated with high body mass index and including (Diabetes , High blood pressure, Heart diseases, ets….), Therefore the researcher worked on to identify the percentage of the peoples that belongs to the Iraqi society specially that peoples with high rate of the Body Mass Index, And the researcher has chosen some of the male teachers in some of the colleges in the university of Baghdad , and the researcher was used a special form to collect each teacher's data ,this form including (weight, length, age, ets…), this form helped the researcher to get the results of the main objective after that the researcher processed the date, and then the researcher has reached to some conclusions and he might give some recommendations
