Weakness In Tactical Performance Level In Elite Iraqi Club Players For The Season 2014 – 2015 From Analytical Soccer Coach Point of View

Abstract

The importance of the research lies in detecting the weakness in players' tactical
performance, the factors affecting them, and finding solutions. The problem of the research
was the weakness in the player's tactical performance in the season 2014 – 2015. The
research consisted of questions concerning which factors caused this weakness in
performance according to experts? Which factor had the greatness influence on this
weakness?
The researcher used the descriptive method. The subjects were (8) experts in the
field of soccer analysis, training and sport analysis (analytical coach) who worked in this
field the season 2014 – 2015. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical
methods. The results showed great weakness in dimensions and axis related to tactical
performance. The reasons for this weakness were 39 reasons in which the weakness in soccer
skills ranked the highest. Finally the researcher recommended paying attention to tactical
training during the different phases of preparations as well as using modern means for
playing to improve the players general level.
