A survey study of the fouls committed by the fencers (three weapons) in Senior Asian Championship/2009

Abstract

The aim of this study after analysis of (512) bouts for three weapons in the senor asian fencing championship /2009, counted the fencers fouls during bouts(Individual - team)male & female. The research subjects were all fencers who qualified to the direct elimination round 230 fencer. counted this study all the fouls made by the fencers in all the weapons it is found that all fouls that occurred was from the first group. the more fouls occurred in the foil competition %74.53,the least fouls occurred in the saber competition %13.19. Researcher recommended the use of this information and results to knowledge and understand of common fencers fouls will contribute to avoid it benefit from the information in the preparation and learn the referees.
