Abstract

The research aimed at using academic achievement scale and identifying the effect of academic achievement level and learning some fundamental skills in fencing for third year college students. The researchers used the descriptive method on (30) third year college of physical education and sport sciences college students/ university of Baghdad. The researchers used academic achievement scale designed by Al Tai 2011 and three judges were consulted with total academic achievement score (25). The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to conclude that there is a significant relation between academic achievement and some fundamental skills in fencing and scientific knowledge contribute in lifting the level of fundamental skills performance in fencing.
