Abstract

The importance of the research lies in making comparative styles for some kinematical variables of slice backhand (straight and circumference) as well as identifying their relation with the speed and accuracy of performance in tennis players aged 14 – 16 years old. The aim of the research is using modern analytical apparatuses that help coaches study some mechanical variables that affect these two styles of backhand slice as well as identifying their effect on speed and accuracy of performing backhand slice in tennis players aged 14 – 16 years old. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS to conclude that circumference backhand slice surpassed straight backhand slice in speed and accuracy because the player has more distance unlike straight backhand slice
