Special Strength Training For Developing Working Muscles During Throwing Position and Final Disc Throw and Its Effect On Discus Throwing Achievement In Youth
The importance of the research lies in using special strength training for developing working muscles during throwing and final discus throwing phases. The research aimed at identifying the effect of this training on some motor pathways’ variables of working muscles during throwing and final throwing phases for youth throwers of the national league. The research was applied on (7) national league youth throwers. The training program lasted for (10) weeks with (3) sessions per week. The results showed that special strength exercises improved launching and achievement in throwing. Finally the researchers recommended using these strength exercises for working muscles to develop the artistic aspects of throwing for all age groups.
