The Effect of Small Games on Some Fundamental Skills in Young Soccer Players of Al Zawraa Club

The study aimed at identifying the effect of small games on some fundamental skills in young soccer players of Al Zawraa club. The researcher used the experimental method in (20) player aged 12 – 13-year-old divided equally into controlling and experimental groups. The researcher used the experimental method to develop passing, dribbling, and scoring. The data was collected and treated using SPSS to conclude that there are significant statistical differences between pre and posttests in passing, dribbling and scoring. Finally, the researcher recommended deigning and applying small games in training young soccer players to develop their fundamental skills in soccer as well as designing small games for recreation and education for this age of soccer players.
